Named for the Renaissance habit of dilating pupils with it for beauty. It is still the antidote to nerve agents and to the mushrooms that do the opposite.
This star is on the map because the show intends to take the question apart properly — the trials, how it is actually tested, whether the thing sold is the thing studied.
